I created this speculative product animation to reimagine The Will to Change in a way that modernizes it by utilizing modern product animation. By using 3D software and animating the book in the style of a tech product, I aimed to offer a fresh perspective on traditional publishing marketing approaches. I chose the calming piano music to put the viewer in the mood for heavy topics but at the end of the day the book highly encourages love and understanding between men, those who love men, and those wronged by men.

By designing an exclusive cover and elevating its presentation through animation, I sought to emphasize the book’s messages about fatherhood, toxic masculinity, and growth. The dot animation alludes to human heartbeats and how blood flows through the body, emphasizing the book’s message of love and connection. Including quotes from Maya Angelou serves to appeal to audiences of the revered and lauded author. The 2D animation is highly versatile and can be adapted for various applications, such as Instagram stories, posts, and other social media formats.
